Purpose of Position

To efficiently support the Sr Director M & M benelux-DACH through taking responsibility for a whole range of administrative activities. As a result, the Sr Director M&M Benelux-DACH will be able to accomplish his mission in a more effective way, focusing on the mail points/critical aspects for his role.
To support the Sr Director M&M and the MM Team to excute activities across the region which deliver optimal growth and profitability.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Prepare and update reports concerning information related to the area of responsibility the Sr Director M&M Benelux-DACH.
  • Formalize business presentations, Minute Meetings, Manage correspondence of the Sr Director M&M Benelux-DACH.
  • Supports the Sr Director M&M with administrative tasks (i.e. Holiday Schedules, Timekeeping, Vendor communication, Target setting for employees).
  • Coordinate information flows inside the company and to/from external relation such as vendors or other business partners.
  • Ensuring the timely production of Marketing communication to all stakeholders to ensure inclusion in all Touchpoints taking into account the requirements of each touch point.
  • Supports Merchandising by using available systems and external data to analyze performance to enable effective assortment and promotion decisions.
  • Continuous input into improvement of planning and business processes such as product management (cradle to grave), product / customer queries, specials etc.

Required Skills / Knowledge

  • Professional Education.
  • Two to four years experience and / or training.
  • 1 year of experience in a merchandising / marketing department or similar business area.
  • Highly numerate and analytical.
  • PC literate (Word, Outlook).
  • Extensive Excel Skills (pivot table, VLOOKUPS, macro's etc).
  • Extensive PowerPoint skills.
  • Able to use available systems and tools to effectively prepare tenders.
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written. Additional language like Dutch, German, French etc and advantage.
  • The ability and confidence to communicate with colleagues and peers in different departments.
  • Works well under pressure. Adapts to changing priorities.
  • Self motivated, enthusiastic.
  • Accurate, efficient, structured and methodical.

Terms of employment

Fulltime.
Salary: in consultation.
